Your Own Articles and Images

General

Own articles contain the information you want to create and consist of a headline, a text field, an image or a combination of these.

The layout (grid cells) represents your daily edition. Articles are created, arranged and changed in this layout.

IMPORTANT: Every change to an article in the layout affects the original article saved in “Own articles”.

Creating and Editing Your Own Article

Click a grid cell and connect adjacent cells – this sets the article size you want.

Click “Edit”. Enter the headline and the text, or copy the text from any source. The text is adapted to the standard font automatically.

Select the text and apply the formatting you want:

  • Format bold
  • Format underline
  • Format italic
  • Justify, Left, Center, Right

only available in the text field:
  • Insert list
  • Insert column break (for multi-column text, see “Columns on”)
  • Add hyphens (with justified text, this inserts correct hyphenation – for the best display of the article, please do not hyphenate manually!)

In the second row of the toolbar you insert a date with one click: day of the week, today’s date, tomorrow’s date, next week’s date or the date in two weeks.

In the article menu at the top left of the article, use “Headline on/off”, “Text on/off” and “Image on/off” to decide whether the article is shown with or without a headline, text field or image, and for multi-column articles use “Columns on/off” to decide whether the text appears in one column or in several columns. Finish editing with “Save Article”.
