What is Hotelmedia Service?
Hotelmedia Service is online software for daily guest communication in hotels. With its editor, Hotelmedia News (on our German site: Hotelmedia Morgenpost), hotels create their daily hotel newspaper (guest newspaper) using a drag-and-drop layout system – printed and digitally as an e-paper, on their own website and in the digital guest folder. The provider is Hotelmedia Service GmbH in Innsbruck, Austria.
Which hotels is Hotelmedia News for?
For hotels of every size – from family-run hotels to resorts and thermal spas. Hotels in Austria, Germany and South Tyrol have used the software since 2013, including AQUA DOME, Tuxerhof, SPA-Hotel Jagdhof and properties of Hilton and Kempinski. See examples
How much does Hotelmedia News cost?
The basic plan Forever Free is free forever. Smart & Small costs €14 per month billed annually (€19 billed monthly), Business Base €47 (€59), Business Pro €67 (€84). For hotel groups and tourist offices there is the Enterprise plan on request. All prices net, excluding 20% VAT. Compare all plans

How do I cancel?
After the trial you can cancel your account at any time within the contract term with one month’s notice. Monthly subscriptions require a SEPA direct debit.
Do I need layout or design skills?

Which content is added to the hotel newspaper automatically?
Depending on the plan: the weather forecast for your location (updated four times a day, as daily and 5-day forecast), events from your regional tourist office (in selected regions), content from the Giggle experience cloud, and entertainment such as sudoku, puzzles, quote of the day, horoscopes and a ready-made daily kids’ newspaper. Recurring content such as opening hours is saved once with a daily, weekly or monthly repetition.
In which formats and languages is the hotel newspaper available?
In A3, A4 and A5, with up to 8 pages depending on the plan. A foreign-language edition of your complete hotel newspaper is created with one click through automatic translation – for many relevant languages.
Can I offer the hotel newspaper digitally?
Yes. The hotel newspaper is also available as an e-paper. Individual content such as the daily menu or events can be embedded with the Digital Widget on your website, in your digital guest folder or on hotel TV – entered once, up to date everywhere.
What else can I use Hotelmedia News for?
For every printed piece in your hotel: evening edition, weekly programme, menus, lift notices, birthday post or a staff newspaper. The Business Base plan includes up to 5 independent layouts, Business Pro an unlimited number.
